@prologic@neotxt.dk Really? I actually liked the WebUI for yarn.social
Yes, this instance is back!
So anyways, I did stuff on my blog during the absence of this instance.
So I did indeed get my blog running again before the end of this year.
Why is Go so popular? I haven’t understood the appeal of Go, and I seek to change my mind. (I mean the programming language, not the board game.)
@movq@uninformativ.de Sure, go ahead. Just as a warning: It doesn’t support Xwayland (yet?).
@mckinley@twtxt.net I used kiwmi as a daily driver for a few months this year (because my X server didn’t start and I didn’t figure out the reason why). While wlroots certainly reduces the effort to write a Wayland compositor, I also encountered the issue that it introduces new wlroots-specific subprotocols, which themselves need to be implemented. For example, no existing screenlocker worked, so I needed to hack something together in the lua-config.
@prologic@twtxt.net Perhaps Mastodon isn’t popular enough in Brazil.
How did it taste?
Thanks for all the answers. I have taken a look at them and I will consider them all.
@mckinley@twtxt.net Thanks a lot! I have anticipated this blogpost, and you did not let me down!
@mckinley@twtxt.net Nice. Looking forward for it.
What exactly are the advantages / disadvantages of RSS and Atom?
I hope I can get my blog running again by the end of this year.
