@email@example.com no idea for mobile (yet). But we could also use different colors for the logout. Like we used to have a secondary (grey) color for settings and logout, before I came in and messed with the css 😅
@firstname.lastname@example.org yeah we can do something like that for the mobile-web version as well
@email@example.com so align the logout to the right maybe?
And now also the user’s avarar instead of the profile icon:
How about putting the logout under settings like this?
@firstname.lastname@example.org I have also played with idea about splitting up the navigation into a pod level and user level. And interesting idea to have a bottom navbar for mobile.
@email@example.com yes I also made something like that once way way back😉
@firstname.lastname@example.org Yes I have tried to have the avatar in the top right in an earlier design, but it still needs some work - especially on mobile (not shown)
@email@example.com Would it make more sense to put it under Settings? I think it is a waste of space to have a dedicated icon in the topnav for something that most people would not be using on a daily basis.
@firstname.lastname@example.org you are welcome 😊
@email@example.com nice 🦓
(maybe) fixed the overflow issue on safari · f1d4b6a0f2 - yarn - Mills
It live on neotxt.dk so i will open up for registation today, if anyone with an iOS want to test it
@firstname.lastname@example.org and @email@example.com what version of Safari are you guys using?
On my MacBook im stuck on Safarie 15, but in Safari 16
overflow-clip is supported and sounds like something that could fix the unwanted horizontal scrolling issue: https://kilianvalkhof.com/2022/css-html/do-you-know-about-overflow-clip/
@firstname.lastname@example.org will bebther shortly. Just need my ☕ and breakfast
This is also how I mosty been working with all the UI design I have been doing for yarn social
.tabs .tabclasses are applied to a
<div>on “Settings". That padding is pushing the
<article>tabs. What do you use for content creation, Microsoft Windows?
@email@example.com what do you mean with “content creation” ?
@firstname.lastname@example.org you did not. i just didn’t notice it was not the same tread.
@email@example.com ah okay, so nothing to do with the horizontal scroll. Thanks for notices and bringing to attention
.tabs .tab are not appied to
<article id> or
<article id> so i still dont “see” the issue.
please provide screenshot with comments. Preferably as an issue on the gitea for yarnd

@email@example.com then you will need to make a test account or wait for someone with their own pod to test it
@firstname.lastname@example.org neotxt.dk is already running the profile2 branch. You can only switch the branch if you are the admin of a pod. You can spin up a test pod, but that is a lot of work just for testing this, if you have never done it before.
@email@example.com but on twtxt.net right? Try on my pod or the
@firstname.lastname@example.org I don’t have any issue on my android phone in chrome or jQuakes browser from f-doird that I use daily.
@email@example.com it might be fixed on the CSS from the new profile2 so take that for a spin and report back
@firstname.lastname@example.org I don’t own a iOS device so can’t test this…
@email@example.com also you mentioned my old account
Hmm no idea what that is. It not just the native features of iOS safari? Do you get it on other sites as well?
@firstname.lastname@example.org we might, but for now the front-page explains is pretty good
@email@example.com one of the latest commit made it link to yarn social, but I have not update the version running on neotxt.dk yet
@firstname.lastname@example.org I tried to write something about platform and protocols before (https://blog.neotxt.dk/protocols-not-platforms) by the word ecosystem mig be s better fit because it sound less technical
@email@example.com thanks, yeah I at least want to make the text white in the buttons. But these colours have nothing to do with the new profile. You can change them under settings/poderator if are an admin
[eapl.me](https://eapl.me)is not being converted from MD into an HTML link 🤔
@firstname.lastname@example.org yeah that have never been a feature…not my fault 😅 you need to use the add link under settings
@email@example.com yes I had too. The fix was to delete all the cockies for the pod(s) you have been logged. I think I started when I was running my own local Dev pod and the the bowser get the cookies mixed up between the pods
mediaonlyfilter 👌 Example of my pod:
I did’t “do” much beside keep nagging about getting someone else to code the feature ;)
